Views are Up to 45! I Have More to Say…………..

Thanksgiving has been wonderful. The turkey turned out nicely. It was tender! The gravy was fine, and all the food turned out. We ate until we could not eat any longer. Turkey has a way of making you feel full. We didn’t eat dessert yet.

I didn’t nap. I have still been cleaning. I found some things to rinse off, and scrub. They were trays that we have collected over the years. I washed them up. They come in handy at times. Then I started organizing the spices. I found two things to put them on. One is a wooden turn table. It turns and I can pick out the spices I need. I do need to have a way of organizing them by type. I am working on it.

I scrubbed some more where the spices have been . At least organizing them made them come out of the shoe boxes and onto a platform where I can get to them more easily. I was thinking about organizing them into sets of spices. How do you organized your spices.

I have been married a long time, but my spices are in a container now, instead of in a cabinet. They have become plentiful. They are running over the kitchen. So I took them out, and put them on a turn table, and on another platform. They look better, and the corner does too.

I found a passage again. It is the same one I have had for a while. So I studied it some more.
Look at Jeremiah 16:19-21

This is not much to read, but it is so encouraging. This is one reason to read the Word. I try not to be lax about reading my Bible. God shows me things to know, to write down, and to go over, like I am studying for a test.
This is one of the recent passages.

Who is Jeremiah addressing in the passage? It looks like the LORD (God) is his strength, and His refuge in the time of distress. Are you in distress? God is your refuge if you will kneel and give yourself to Him. He can be the one you call on, and come to daily for help. He is my refuge. I gave my heart away to Him. I am His child from head to toe, inside and out, and all around. Some people might doubt this. But I know whom I have put my trust in, and whom I believe. Jeremiah has a close walk with God, that is obvious.

You might say, “I guess so. He wrote something that is in the Bible.”
I’m not ignoring that, but I am pointing out a fact. Jeremiah had a close walk with God, and so can you.
He calls Him LORD. This is God the Father.

O LORD……..God the Father
He is submitted to God head to toe, inside and out and all around.

My strength…..He recognizes spiritual strength comes from walking closely with God. God is His LORD. He bows to Him on the inside as well as on His knees.

How long has it been since you bowed to God Almighty? I try to bow to Him daily, and I pick a time to have my reading when the household is busy, or not coming in and out of the den where I study. The television is in there, and it is often turned on, even though I have begun studying, or been studying. I find an early time to get there, and no…..I don’t turn on the television to have a time with God. My knees bow to Him frequently, and I hope daily. I don’t remember. That is not the point. God is My Father, and He takes care of me, and talks to me after someone has spoken harshly, or been mean to me. He comforts me, and always has.
Life in a preacher’s home is like when you grew up, only the Bible is injected. Church is a must, and we are suppose to be Christians. At times we act like we don’t even know Him, and other times we are humble instead of full of pride.

When you go through the rough places….it is God who brings us out shining on the other side. Either we go Home to Glory, or we live longer. God wants us to be STEADFAST, UNMOVEABLE, ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD..FOR WE KNOW OUR LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN IN THE LORD.”

I BELIEVE THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE VERSES. PLANT THE WORD INSIDE YOU AND IT WILL COME UP WITH THE WEEDS. THE WORD WILL GROW AND SURVIVE, AND THE WEEDS WILL QUIT WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.

DON’T ALLOW THE STRONGHOLDS TO COME UP INSIDE YOU.BREAK THE STRONGHOLDS, BY SAYING, “I COME AGAINST THIS STRONGHOLD IN MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME. I TELL IT TO GO, AND IT IS BROKEN. YOU HAVE TO STAND UP TO IT.

ANGER IS A STRONGHOLD IN MANY OF US. IT RISES UP AND HURTS THOSE AROUND YOU. OFTEN SELF IS OUT OF CONTROL AND ON A ROLE TO KNOCK ALL OF US DOWN. STOP TRYING TO CORRECT EVERYONE ELSE. YOU HAVE PLENTY TO WORK ON WITHOUT TRYING TO FIX SOMEONE ELSE.

GOD HAS SOMETHING MORE FOR YOU. BREAK THE STRONGHOLDS SO HE CAN TALK TO YOU.

GOD IS INTERESTED STILL IN THE NATIONS…….ESPECIALLY ISREAL.

IN THIS PASSAGE GOD IS SAYING THAT HE WILL MAKE THEM KNOW HIS GREAT NAME.

HIS NAME IS GREAT, AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED. HE MADE THEM KNOW HIS POWER.

WHEN CHIRST AROSE FROM THE DEAD THAT WAS THE POWER OF GOD THAT DID THIS. HE IS GOD’S SON AND HE HAS THE POWER TO RESSURECT YOU FROM YOUR COMPLACENCY TO KNOW HIM. YOU ARE DEAD IN YOUR TRESSPASSES AND SINS, BUT GOD WANTS TO MAKE YOU COME ALIVE SPIRITUALLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. BELIEVE AND BE SAVED. TRUST IN CHRIST AS YOUR OWN SAVIOR. HE LOVES YOU!
