I played several games just now against the Computer on line. It was repeating my strategy that helped win those games. This is a good game to daily play. I always play several games since it is good for my mind. I learned in one of my classes after I graduated from college, that games like this are wonderful for your mind.
I applied this to my hobby list. I play against the computer, because it doesn’t get upset when I begin to win. You see, I have a fixed routine that I try, and if I make the same moves, I usually win. I don’t say that it happens every time, but when I really think about the moves, I do better.
My mind is often on things that I know are serious problems in life. When I play the Checkers game, my mind is worked to its capacity, and the stress leaves as I play this game. I don’t have to get upset that someone is winning, and I’m losing. The computer does win one time out of twenty. I have to warm up to THINKING, and it works. Checkers is also good for problems with memory. You are THINKING with this game.
I added to this post, because I had written only a little for this one. I thought, “I have more to say on this subject.”
Mom used to play board games with us when we were little. I hate Monopoly, but I love to play it also. It goes slow because some people think as to where they want to move when they are moving their little piece. I don’t. I try to figure how to slide, more.
