Checkers

I played several games just now against the Computer on line. It was repeating my strategy that helped win those games. This is a good game to daily play. I always play several games since it is good for my mind. I learned in one of my classes after I graduated from college, that games like this are wonderful for your mind.

I applied this to my hobby list. I play against the computer, because it doesn’t get upset when I begin to win. You see, I have a fixed routine that I try, and if I make the same moves, I usually win. I don’t say that it happens every time, but when I really think about the moves, I do better.

My mind is often on things that I know are serious problems in life. When I play the Checkers game, my mind is worked to its capacity, and the stress leaves as I play this game. I don’t have to get upset that someone is winning, and I’m losing. The computer does win one time out of twenty. I have to warm up to THINKING, and it works. Checkers is also good for problems with memory. You are THINKING with this game.

I added to this post, because I had written only a little for this one. I thought, “I have more to say on this subject.”

Mom used to play board games with us when we were little. I hate Monopoly, but I love to play it also. It goes slow because some people think as to where they want to move when they are moving their little piece. I don’t. I try to figure how to slide, more.

What a Day.

I have been busy again. Washes were on my schedule for today. I have little rugs in the washer now, and if I am right, this may be the last wash for another day. It is nice to finally get caught up. Isaac at times puts in another wash for me, but I don’t like to let laundry linger in the basket.

I have been cleaning, and straightening the house. It takes that, and making things look, and smell better. I am aware of Coved 19, so I do more. I shouldn’t worry, but we are in and out some days, and I know that being out there with the virus still not harnessed is a risk. We wear masks when some are not. Smile. No one knows really what to do, but when I am with professionals, I wear the mask.
