Our Shots Went Well.

We waited twenty minutes after receiving our shots. We filed out forms, and turn these in. Everyone stayed in their cars, and drove around a maze. This might have taken 10 minutes. Ed received his shot first, and then the lady came to me. Frankly, this shot didn’t hurt, an it didn’t last long. We must make an appointment in 3 weeks ahead for the next dose of this shot. Some might not hav to go back, but frankly two doses are fine. AT LEAST IT WON’T BE GOING BACK THREE TIMES.

THERE I go again. MY FINGER TURNED ON CAPITAL LETTERS. IT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS ALL DAY. My arm is not hurting yet.

75, and no Wrinkles.

I love to see wrinkles on other people. They look good in wrinkles. I THINK my sister had one wrinkle when she died. IT WAS LONG, BUT THE rest of the face was flawless. SHE TREATED her skin with care, and being a medical person, I KNOW her background helped her find some wonderful things to put on her face. I FOUND SOME OF THESE THINGS when I packed up her things last time I WAS AT THE HOUSE. Sis is out of town. She died in October, and this was my last family member in my immediate, family. I am left standing, and I DO STAND.

I stand on the promises, and on the fact that God prepares a place for those who received Christ, and my sister is in heaven, with my family. YOU KNOW, when we know Christ, we have sisters, and brothers in Christ. At times I MEET people who are kinder than the Christians I KNOW. THEY don’t know Christ, but they will talk to me, and treat me with peace, love, and dignity. I am surprised, and their kindness goes a long way with me. LITTLE is much when God is in it. I DO BELIEVE kindness goes a LONG, LONG, WAY.

ED, AND I Go for our shots.

Ed made an appointment for us to get our Covid shots. I told him I would go first. I changed to a sweater that will help them give the shot. I am not nervous. Have you ever looked the other way when the shot is being given? One shot lasted longer, and when I turned to look it was still being given. I HOPE this one finishes shortly. I AM VERBOSE today, and guess why?

Green Tea.

I love Green Tea. I HAVE three, cups of green tea daily. IT IS GOOD for women to drink this amount to resist certain kinds of cancer. I am sure the LORD protects us, but there are times when I FIND wisdom goes with God.

I HEARD about the Green Tea, but I WAS ALREADY drinking it. You know, just because you have cancer in your family lines doesn’t mean that you have to get cancer. I DON’T eat many sweets, because I BELIEVE SWEETS are not good for you. I MIGHT eat ice cream after getting a shot in my eye, and this is one time a month, but two times this month.

Ed, and I go out after the treatment, and then I go to bed. I take Baby Aspirin, and this helps with the pain that comes after the numbing of my eye wears off. They numb my eye before he gives the shot. I am in good, hands.

YOU MIGHT THINK, “Why go to all that trouble?”

I happened to go for my eyes to be checked, and my doctor said I NEEDED TO GO to an eye specialist. I AM SURE THIS HELPED ME recover quicker from the spot I SAW, and yesterday, I READ THE eye charts with both, eyes. I MADE ONE, MISTAKE WITH THE RIGHT EYE. I didn’t make one mistake with all the charts, and I READ AT LEAST 2 FOR EACH EYE. Frankly my eyes were tired from all the reading I did at home for the past two, days. Smile.

The shot never hurts, but after the treatment, I go rest, and sleep for a while. I am tired, but glad to have this therapy. PROGRESS comes in many packages. I PRAYED THAT God WOULD heal my eyes. HE has been my help, and my rock through this experience. Yesterday, I TOOK IT EASY. The pain was gone, mostly. A SHOT IN THE EYE isn’t for everyone. MY CHURCH prays with me through this, and they agree to pray when I GO. MY SISTER IS IN HEAVEN, SO I reach out to those who know God! I am amazed.. The shot was over, before I KNEW IT.

So now I WANT TO THANK Y0U, FOR PRAYING WITH ME about my eye treatment. I WILL GO THROUGH THIE UNTIL SEPTEMBER, and to read the charts with both eyes is remarkable to me. I DON’T KNOW That I WOULD SEE SO WELL, if I HADN’T GONE TO MY REGULAR EYE DOCTOR.

I AM OLDER, but I DID hesitate. IT IS lots of trouble to have your eyes tested, but it is a good, thing. Doctors know what they are doing, and they have to be trained. I AM so thankful. God is good, and HIS LOVE IS FOR ALL OF US. GOD IS LOVE. in HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL. HE IS MY LIGHT, AND MY SALVATION. I BELIEVE THIS REDEEMED ONE HAS SAID SO.

I HAVE FOUND FOUR THINGS TO GO OFF.

I found four, foods to go off, and I have lost weight. I am off mashed potatoes, or regular baked potatoes. I EAT SWEET POTATOES AT TIMES. I am off all bread of any kind, sweets, and fruit. I can have prunes, and orange juice. I HAVE slowly lost over 15 pounds .

When ISAAC makes cookies, it is harder to resist. I waked, and got up to read early today. I had one of his cookies. I am up to read through the Bible. I DON’T RUSH. I STAY THERE UNTIL I HAVE FINISHED FOR THE DAY. IT TAKES TIME, and I WOULD LIKE TO finish the Bible again, by April.

My pills.

I have a set number of pills that I have to take daily. One of these is potassium. My doctor prescribed the packets for me, and now I open a packet, and dissolve it in water. This works. I used to melt a huge, tablet in water. I stirred, and drank this. The new way is tastier, and nice. I take potassium daily.

I know of someone who ate too, many bananas, and died. He was miserable, and probably wanted to die. I thought it so sad, because he left a wife, and family. She had to stay with another family. She didn’t really want to do this, but she had no job, or money.

I do find myself praying for those who are sick, or who have lost their jobs. America is going through some hard, times. I have many sisters in Christ. MY SISTER WENT ON TO HEAVEN.
