When it is so hot, popsicle are wonderful! I bought the family pack of popsicle that have the white ice cream and the chocolate layer on top. They come on a stick. In my growing up days, these were called, “Brown Mules.” They were a nickel a piece at school. On a hot day, outside, it was wonderful to have a brown mule, or a fudgesicle. A nickel was a lot of money, and I didn’t always have money for the deserts they sold. Today, a package of 12 brown mules from the store costs maybe $4.50 per box. In the freezer they are safe, and we can eat them any time. Tonight Ed, and Isaac indulged. They had two apiece.
