I think of cutting hair so that it will look tapered in the back. It goes to a point and it all fits well because it is gradually tapered. Cut a little more each time there is a change in levels. Finally you stop because there is no, more to taper. Then I would suppose you cut along the edge of the hair so you can shorten it some. You leave the sides longer, and the back tapered to a point. The sides go into the cut and they are tapered as well. This can be a fancy cut but it takes someone who knows about cutting hair to do it right. Women can have their hair tapered, but I think men’s hair is always tapered when it is first cut.
