What Hinders God?

God is bigger than we are, so how can we hinder Him? I believe our unbelief, doubts, and apathy hinder us from drawing close to Him. He is always there, but when we drift away, we know it, and we know to come back to Him.

He sees us in the darkness, and in the light. He is powerful, and He knows all things. I believe God wants us to come close to Him. How? Reading the Bible, studying, and praying. Spending more time with Him alone will help you get to know Him. Also fellowship in a believing church will help. Some churches meet in homes. I believe God is everywhere, but there is and has been a reason for the ministry and for churches. Some are called, and few are chosen. I believe we come by faith to Him, and we keep walking with the faith that is growing in Him.

When you truly know Him, there will be changes in you, as well as in others. If you have come to the end of your rope, then bow before Him and humble yourself. You may have served Him for a long time, but at times our humility doesn’t show. The relationship is built on the Word of God, and on believing that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He loves you personally.

Jesus died for all of us, and for each one of us individually. We come to God with our openness, and honesty, and we tell Him what is inside our hearts. When he hears our humility, and we ask to be covered by the blood of Jesus, he takes those sins, and covers them with Jesus blood. Nothing is assumed. When you ask Him, Jesus comes to live inside you by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not too, difficult, but many don’t believe. If you have an unbelieving husband, he is sanctified by your faith and trust in Christ. Other words, God wants Him to come also.
