Whole Cranberries.

I love the thought of having whole cranberries, that have just been produced on the stove. You rinse a bag of cranberries, and put them in water to boil. When they start popping with the heated water, it is time to add the sugar, and watch them closer. I stir the 2 cups of sugar into the berries, and wait. Soon the water is about to boil, and the berries are popping open. I take them off. There is more juice than is needed. I save it for me. Then I put a nice bowl of cranberries, freshly off the stove, into the refrigerator to wait until supper time. Hmmmmmmm. I could have cranberries this way forever!
