    1. Mom always had new outfits for us, even if we wore them alike. I believe she tried to instill Easter in us. We hid eggs all week before Easter. There was no mention of the Easter Rabbit, but we had dyed eggs to hide. I believe Mom loved every holiday, and every time we played in the house, and outside. She watched from afar, hoping we didn’t see her amused look. Mom was smart. She let us do things that some would not have gotten to do for being in the pastor’s family. We loved Dad, because he played with us, and taught us to walk fast, and be save when crossing the road. He went with us on bike rides. I believe he was actively involved with us daily. His heart was that we would know the Lord, and live for Him daily.
