We came home for supper. We ate late, so it was like an early supper. We had left over lasagna from Wednesday night. The big dish of lasagna was eaten. It held quite a bit of lasagna, and it was the Mother Dish. I am coining this because you can call a ship, a mother ship. The dish was full to the brim, and Ed got it for me at the yard sale. He saw it, and said, “Ruby, how would you like this dish?”
He knew I love Red in a dish for the church suppers. It looks cheerful. This one has a white interior, and the red is bright on the outside. If I am careful, we might just get many years wear out of this dish.
Isaac is calling. “Mom, Mom. Popcorn. Hurry up!”
