What’s for Supper?

Home-made cranberries, breaded pork chops, and home-made cookies, and possibly fudge for dessert. Isaac is making fudge, and he needs us to sample it. If it is good, he will try to make more for Sunday after church. We always have some kind of treat, because church can be long, and we get hungry. Rather than rushing off to eat, we serve a little something to nibble on, and then we leave. It is a time of talking together after the sermon. I believe it is a necessary thing, because we get tired, and hungry.  I don’t eat a large breakfast on Sunday. I am in the choir, and it is harder to sing when I am full. So 2:00 P. M. lunch comes, and we are both hungry.
