My name is Ruby Craft. I’ll be sharing from my heart, the real me.Sometimes I’ll share what is on my heart and mind from a preacher’s wife point of view. Other times I will share a recipe, or a painting. I will reflect the good , the present and the future.
I’m a former school teacher and have taught school for 20 years. Ed Craft is my husband. He is pastor at Christ Fellowship in Ringgold, GA. Life as a pastor’s wife for 42 years has been something that I have grown to love. I always wanted to be in Christian Ministry. I was shy when we started out in our ministry, and being in a big church was not easy those first years. I did not like to talk, write, sing, or perform. Ed was the gregarious one. He helped me, by being patient. Eventually the Lord took all my fear of man away.
I have been on Word Press nearly two years. The posts on Rubies Corner are more than on the other blogs. I have over 800 writings to choose from. I hope you will come back often to see what is on the page. Smile.
I enjoy life in retirement from teaching elementary school children. I tutored locally for several years. I have resigned and now I focus on art, painting, cooking for the Recovery Group at church, and writing on the Rubies Corner blogs. I hope you will visit often and make this a place that you can find something worthwhile to read. Smile. You might get to see some newer paintings. I put them on the web also. I am currently showing all my work at deviant Art under RSC3 which is my code name. I am a Christian Artist, and yes I am interested in showing my work in other places. I haven’t shown it live in years. I believe this is the year for it. Smile.
I had to read the “about” page too. I was curious. And again, I am glad I read it.

Thank you lots for this info.
Nice to meet you Ruby
David in Maine USA
Thanks for coming by the blog, and for deciding to follow. I have never been to Maine. My family would travel up the East Coast when I was in high school, and we made it to Canada, and the famous Falls there. I would spell it out, but I keep getting a red line that says I have misspelled the word. Niagara Falls is what I wanted to say. Hey, the red line disappeared! Thanks for coming by Rubies Corner.
